A Call for “Chinese Music Linking the Future” Video Submissions
I. Theme“Chinese Music Linking the Future” II. Organizational StructureSupervisor: Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, People’s Republic of China Organizers: Network of International Culturalink Entities (NICE), China Cultural Centers III. Age EligibilityOpen to individuals of non-Chinese nationality aged between 6 and 24. IV. Video Requirements1) Content: Showcase your talent by playing a traditional Chinese instrument in a solo or ensemble performance. Choose any tune you love, and let your positive and expressive style shine. 2) Format: Submit a high-definition video (16:9 horizontal) with clear visuals and synchronized sound, not exceeding 5 minutes. Acceptable uncompressed formats include avi, mov, wmv, and mpg. No unauthorized content or watermarks/logos, please. V. SubmissionEmail your video to Chinesemusic@chinaculture.org, naming it “Chinesemusic+content.” Don’t forget to include a brief description of your video and personal details (name, nationality, and contact information). Submission Deadline: 23:59, May 31, 2024 (Beijing time) VI. RewardThe NICE will create a dedicated webpage for the event, presenting the highlights of the leading submissions to a worldwide audience. You will receive a certificate if your submission is among the selected entries. As a winning participant, you will also have the opportunity to be invited to China for exchanges and performances on the theme of traditional Chinese music. VII. Other Details1) Your submission should be original without infringing upon the copyright, patent right, trademark right, reputation, or other legal rights and interests of a third party. Otherwise, the organizers have the right to disqualify the submission at any time. 2) By submitting your entry, you automatically authorize organizers to edit and use your video for online and offline displays.
